Una from Neil Gaiman's Stardust

Una from Neil Gaiman's Stardust

I picked up Neil Gaiman’s Stardust book on a whim. I actually haven’t read any others of his works, other than the comic book Sandman.

I didn’t know what to expect, but I immediately was engaged in the love story of this hero from two worlds.

One of the character’s is Una, one of the inhabitants of the magical side of things. She has been forced into labor by a witch. She has cat-like features and is a bit of an enigma, hard to read, sometimes a lovely person, sometimes coniving.

A few days after I’d finished the book I started doodling, and out from the doodles was Una staring at me. I finished her painting with color pencils and watercolor. Enjoy. And, if you get a chance, read the book. It’s quite short and thoroughly enjoyable.
